Twisted Innocence by Terri Blackstock (Moonlighter Series, Book Three); Zondervan ISBN: 978-0-310-33236-7

Twisted Innocence, a novel by Terri Blackstock, opens with Holly not having a good day. She has recently become a single parent struggling to make ends meet which is why she drives a cab. Her latest fare is a couple who mugs and robs her. Next, she receives a visit from the police asking if she knows the whereabouts of her baby’s father, Creed Kershaw. He is a person of interest in a murder investigation. She is shocked the police know about him for a number of reasons. Holly had never told Creed she was pregnant nor had she ever revealed his name to anyone else. Holly doesn’t know where Creed is, but decides to find him in an attempt to keep him out of her life. Once she finds him things go from bad to worse rapidly. The interesting story moves very quickly. There is lots of action and suspense which keeps the reader engaged. As Holly and those close to her find themselves in danger, they cling to their faith and find strength in this.

I had not read the other books in the Moonlighter Series, but I found this book easy to read as a stand alone book because the author provides enough background information about the well developed characters.

I received this book free from the publisher through the BookLook Bloggers book review bloggers program. I was not required to write a positive review. The opinions I have expressed are my own
